What is Mojo? It’s a combination of the scientific and the creative. It’s a blend of the traditional and innovative. It’s a mix of strategy and execution. If you look at our name, Media represents the right side of the brain, Labs represents the left side of the brain, and Mojo is a fusion of both. Combine all of them and you have Mojo Media Labs, a HubSpot Platinum-Certified Partner and the DFW American Marketing Association (AMA) Marketer of the Year award winner, with locations in Dallas, Texas, and Chicago, Illinois.

We’re a digital marketing agency focused on website development, inbound marketing, sales and marketing alignment, sales enablement and (thanks to the addition of our Chicago office) marketing automation/email marketing. Overall, we serve as an extension of our customers’ sales and marketing functions in order to arm them with brand messaging and an online presence alongside process alignment to provide growth-driven results.

A scientist by training, an author by nature, and an entrepreneur by will, Mike drew from his life experiences to create a new communication methodology and ultimately his book, ROE Powers ROI™: The Ultimate Way to Think and Communicate for Ridiculous Results. Mike is the founder and CEO of Mojo. Mike serves as a visionary, practitioner and mentor for Mojo and its people.  Michael speaks at conferences, seminars and conducts Return On Energy® Workshops across the country. He is also a guest writer for Inc.com, HubSpot and a regular guest on Fox News. Mike is a life-learner and dedicates himself to organizations such as Vistage and the Small Giants Community.  When he's not at the Mojo offices, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and Mojo COO, Nikole, and their four kiddos in Southlake, Texas. Mike enjoys spending his "me-time" reading business books, articles, case studies, and working out.

Nikole graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Marketing in 1996 and since has passionately built her career in sales & marketing ever since. Nikole became an "accidental" entrepreneur in 2010 when she married Mojo's CEO, Michael Rose and began running the business with him. Although she loves getting to help our clients grow their business by using Inbound, her real passion lies in building a great culture and creating a company that people want to work for.

Sonja Gray caught "inbound" fever over 20 years ago when a national yellow page directory company hired her as a sales rep. Understanding how to speak the "WIIFM" language to people who are in the buyer's journey was a passion then and made it easy to transition over the years to online search and digital sources. She has spent some time during her career in business intelligence and demand generation companies and has been in sales, sales operations, client delivery and marketing departments. Learning how to use the analytics that can be gained through online behavior has been a motivating journey. She believes there is always something to learn and ways to improve. She gets excited about helping end users find her clients' products and services - because that is ultimately what makes them happy clients!

This is the story of a girl who cried a river and drowned the whole world – kidding. Javariah Khan started tinkering around with Photoshop at the ripe old age of fourteen when she realized a photo of herself floating in space would make for some rad locker décor. Needless to say, she was hooked. A degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas and immeasurable gallons of coffee later, she landed at Mojo. As a Digital Designer, she spends her days finding ways to blend analytics with inspiration to create a picture perfect digital deliverable, because “at the still point, there the dance is.” – T.S. Elliott – Michael Scott. Java also has the coolest nicknames of anyone at Mojo. I, Ashton, am writing this without her knowing. We call her Java, Javacado, Java the Hutt, and my favorite, JaRule.

With over 15 years digital marketing experience, specializing in email marketing and customer retention, Liz Ryan is an innovative thought leader in the field. She has been published in a number of industry publications including Mediapost’s Email Insider, eM+C as well as interviews in DM News and Hubspot. She also been asked to present at industry events by ExactTarget, AdTech, Marketing Sherpa and the EEC.

As the President of Mojo Media Labs Chicago Office, a Platinum HubSpot Partner, she leads the Chicago Northside HubSpot User Group (HUG) and is an Adjunct Lecturer at DePaul University, Kellstadt Marketing Center.

Liz has worked with a variety of businesses both BtoB and BtoC including world-class brands Threadless, an online retailer, and Active Networks, a technology platform, as well as innovative start-ups Belly, ThinkCerca and Benchprep. During her career in interactive marketing, Liz also served as Director at NextWave Media, a lead generation company and Managing Consultant at Stellar Response, an email strategy and delivery consultancy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Arizona State University, and Master of Science degree in eCommerce Technology from DePaul University.

Dream Vacation: Thailand. It's exotic and full of rich culture and history and FAR. Once my kids are old enough to enjoy and appreciate it I'd love to take a family vacation.

Madison is a senior at Texas Christian University with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Journalism. She is currently copy editor for TCU's newspapers - TCU 360, The Skiff and The 109. Throughout the course of her internship, she worked alongside our CEO, Mike Rose, as the Sales and Marketing intern. Her role has included tasks of a Sales Development Representative, driving pre-pipeline sales as well as marketing engagement. She wrote a blog series on Account-Based Marketing and Sales Enablement, check it out!  When Madison is not at Mojo, she spends (all) her time as a dog mom fostering (and dressing up) rescue pups!

Courtney is majoring in Marketing at Southern Methodist University. She is also minoring in Advertising and Spanish and earning a concentration in Entrepreneurship. She had previously worked retail and coached volleyball, but landed her first marketing internship at Mojo since attending college. We call her the baby since she chose to take on an internship her sophomore year on her own initiative. She has a passion for design (which she discovered on accident) and working with clients, but also loves to expand her horizons. She looks forward to learning more about how marketing plays out in the real world and applying what she has learned this far in college to her work.

Meredith is a senior Agricultural Leadership and Development major with a minor in Communication at Texas A&M University in College Station. She currently serves as secretary of the on-campus women’s organization, Aggie Belles. Meredith grew up working at her dad’s small animal veterinary practice in a variety of roles and it was there that she developed a recent interest in marketing. Having always been a planner and organizational nerd by heart, working alongside a client success manager at Mojo was the perfect fit. She quickly became hands on with all things client management, strategic planning, as well as Hubspot production tasks. With an agriculture-related degree, it’s no surprise that Meredith is a horse-show girl (cutting horses) and bow-hunter. However, she also enjoys being a dog mom to her Mini Aussie, Darcy, finding quaint cafes, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
